VORTEX

The Rok is a 125cc single-cylinder 2 stroke engine by Vortex and it has three prized qualities for the present karting world which are: easinessof use, high performances and relative low maintenance costs.

 

After a multi-year experience in the karting world, we in Vortex have created an engine which is easy to use and also exciting to drive.Thanks to the centrifugal dry clutch, with the Rok 125cc it is possible to stop with the engine on.On pushing the green button the engine starts without faltering and without the need for any other help.

 

The Rok has been made by paying great attention to every single detail; this is the most important quality characterizing all Vortex productions.The balancer shaft reduces the negative vibrations and the rpm limiting device maintains the engine at 14.000 rpm; in this way it is possibleto keep prices low and extend the life of the engine.The reed admission, the ø 30mm Dell’Orto carburettor and the water cooled by an integrated water pump inside the carter complete a refined and well calibrated technical package, guaranteeing a fantastic driving sensation which satisfies the driver makes him self-confident.

From the well known Italian based engine manufacturer comes the TM KZ10 125 cc six speed shifter engine.

 

The ultimate in performance – speeds of up to 160 kph achieved – accelerate 0-100 in a flash . Used in the 125CC GP class for drivers older than 26 years, this engine provides the ultimate thrill.

 

There is no other engine that compares to it. A perfect combination with the Birel KZ LINE chassis.

 

Now also available in an electric start version.

The X30 Shifter 125cc TaG was born out of the incredible success of the X30 RL-TaG. The idea was in fact to create an engine with the same reliability characteristics as its  "brother", but able to satisfy fans of gearbox engines.

 

The outcome is an engine that is necessarily different in every aspect, starting from the six-speed gear system, but with exactly the same philosophy: reliable, powerful, providing an extremely thrilling driving experience.

The X30 Shifter is a 6 speed engine, a tight relative of the Parilla Shifter used in the KZ categories and twice winner of the CIK-FIA Viking Trophy; single-cylinder, two-stroke, 125cc displacement, float carburettor (Dell'orto VHSH 30 mm diameter) and electric starter. Maximum rotation speed is set at 14,500 rpm with a power output of 42 HP.

 

The engine, sold all around the world,  is used in the X30 Shifter categories in the different stock class championships quickly growing in many countries, as well as in the international IAME races, like the X30 Challenge Europa and the IAME International Final.

Austrian based manufacturer BRP Rotax revolutionized the karting world with its innovative range of Rotax max karting engines.

 

Designed with simplicity in mind, these electric start, water cooled engines offer ample performance, with relatively low running costs – up to fifty hours before you rebuild.

 

Used in the Junior Max Class, Max Challenge class and DD2 class (two speed direct drive derivative). Engine rebuilding is strictly controlled with sealing of engines done by Authorized service centres only – The Kart Shoppe is one.

 

Rotax engines offer a cost effective alternative to karters. Qualify for world finals when you compete in Max Challenge, Junior Max and DD2 classes. 
Perfect for use with the Birel KF Line.

Used in the cadette class, the Comer C50 engine is the perfect power plant for an introduction into the competitive world of karting.
